Well... the end of an era! This lovely and colourful compressor JoeMeek SC2 has left the studio. Pretty much the only compressor I have used on the drum buss in all of my mixes.
But... it is indeed making room for another stereo compressor, the Neve Portico 5043. Another beast altogether which, in its place, will be shaping and controlling the drum sound (and other things) on the records to come.
Bueno... es el fin de una era! Este increíble y colorido compresor JoeMeek SC2 ha abandonado el estudio.Casi exclusivamente lo único que he usado en mezcla para todas las baterías que han pasado por aquí.
Pero... parece que cede el sitio a otro compresor, el Neve Portico 5043. Otra bestia completamente diferente que, en su lugar, seguirá controlando e impartiendo sonido a las baterías (entre otras cosas!) que pasen por aquí.
